Your free Mudhutter Wigan Athletic fanzine is now online

That’s right, the usual suspects have once again collaborated to bring you 36 pages of FREE content in this Mudhutter Summer Special. Now that the dust has settled on last season and the new one is still several weeks away, we bring you your favourite, indeed only Wigan Athletic fanzine in a free online format which can download and read at your leisure.

What’s in it? Well, we of course digest the matters that mattered during last season on and off the football pitch but as ever, we cover much, much more than that as Finton relives his childhood musical memories in WN5 and Tony Topping tells us about his favourite childhood football games. We take a highly detailed look at the rivalry between Wigan Athletic and Wigan Warriors and discuss the history and future of fanzines in Wigan. We take a visit back to Springfield Park and compare Bramall Lane 2007 to the Britannia Stadium 2011. Neill Rimmer’s Perm reviews the progress of the football club whereas Livesey takes a look at Spanish football and of course there’s one or two of your regular features in there including Tat’s fantastic cartoons.

For now, we need say no more except go get it here by clicking here:

The same usual boring stuff applies, left click to open in your browser, right click to save to your fancy computer and if it’s the first time you’ve taken a peek at our output you’ll also find the last two online fanzines in our download section if you have a mooch around here

As ever, we love feedback so please feel free to give us your thoughts on the forum and if you’re feeling really generous, you can always take out a highly reasonably priced subscription out for the forthcoming 2011/12 season here and set us the not insurmountable challenge of getting another four or five printed issues out during the next nine months

Many thanks to those who have helped and contributed to this issue and indeed contributed, bought and sold every issue over the past few years, you are all very much appreciated and let’s go into next season with the aim of being better than ever. OK was that a bit ambitious, well then we’ll try and be at least as good as we have been, is that more realistic? Yes that’ll do. OK great. Why are you talking to yourself? I don’t know. Well stop it now. OK I will.

OK Over and out. In summary, the Mudhutter Summer Special is online now. Whether you choose to download it now or at the tenth time of asking in a few weeks is entirely up to you.
