2014-15 Season Ticket Details For The Cup Winners

The 2013 Cup Final winners Wigan Athletic have announced season ticket details for the forthcoming Championship campaign.

Last season Latics reached the play-offs eventually losing to QPR, Uwe Rosler will no doubt be looking to avoid the heartache of that two legged tie and go up automatically in style.

The Europa League will not be a distraction this time in the early part of the season but the clubs love affair with the cup will no doubt be rekindled come January 2015.

The official statement from the club is as follows …..

  • June 30 – Guarantee your seat deadline
  • July 2 – Super Saver deadline for 6.5% saving on full price
  • Adults, from just £280
  • Juniors, from just £20*
Wigan Athletic are delighted to announce that season tickets for the new Sky Bet Championship season will go on sale from Wednesday 21 May.
After narrowly missing out on promotion via the Play-Offs in 2013-14, Latics manager Uwe Rosler has already vowed that the club will be back to finish the job next season – and you can be there every kick of the way at the DW Stadium.

Wigan Athletic continue to be committed to providing among the best value in the Sky Bet Championship, with adult seats starting from just £280 – the equivalent of just £12.17 per match –  and rising to a top price of £385, still cheaper than many other clubs’ lowest price.
With a price increase of just £20.00 on average from 2013-14 prices, supporters also have an incentive of purchasing tickets before July 1 to save themselves 6.5%.
There is a range of prices available to suit every location, age group or situation, with Under 16s tickets priced from just £90, Under 11s at £50 and Under 5s Free. There are also packages for young adults, families and senior citizens.
Uwe Rosler says: “The season ticket holders are the foundation of our club – their support gives the players the energy to go and perform every time they play for Wigan Athletic.
“They commit their time, energy and hard-earned money to support us week in, week out and I thank every one of them for their amazing support.”
Jonathan Jackson, Chief Executive added: “We are committed to providing excellent value for money and I think our season ticket prices have once again reflected that.
“Our supporters have been so loyal in what has been an historic and memorable season that has put enormous strain on people’s pockets. We feel that our pricing structure and affordability recognizes the value of their support.”
Season Tickets will be available on line at www.wiganathletic.com/ticketsfrom 9.00am Wednesday 21 May, with supporters also being able to purchase on the phone on 0871 6633 552 or in person at the DW Stadium Ticket Office.
