Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur has pledged his future to the club despite growing concerns that manager Roberto Martinez could be leaving for pastures new.

Thoughts of leaving Wigan Athletic are the last thing on McArthur’s mind and he has today signed a two year extension to his current contract which still has two years to run.  This effectively keeps Jimmy at the DW Stadium until the summer of 2016.
